  8. Installation:  2 easy steps
  9.  
  10. 1) Copy atomic.rexx to your s: drawer.
  11. 2) Set the 'script' bit on atomic.rexx at shell prompt, with:
  12.     >protect s:atomic.rexx +s
  13.  
  14. Requirements:
  15.  
  16. 1) AmiTCP: or Miami TCP - requires TCP: device)
  17. 2) AmigaDOS 3.x or greater (env:Locale.prefs file used)
  18. 3) ARexx

  20.  
  21. Operation:
  22.  
  23. 1) Start TCP program (AmiTCP or MIAMI)
  24. 2) Start ARexx (Normal for "Most" Amigas)
  25. 3) At the shell prompt, type:
  26.     >atomic.rexx y  (in summer - sets it up for DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME-DST)
  27.      -or-
  28.     >atomic.rexx n (in winter - sets it up for NO DAYLIGHT SAVINGS)
  29.      -or-
  30.     Double Click the ICON (you MUST answer the DST question)

  32. 4) After a successful connection is made, your clock is set.
  33.  
  34. 5) After the time is set, close the Tools Output window.
  35.  
  36. Improvements
  37.     - FIXED Atomic1_4 time difference calculation bug
  38.     - Added + or - or precede timezone offset from UTC
  39.     - Still retains interactive mode if you leave off the ARG
  40.         i.e. >atomic.rexx  -or-  doubleclick Atomic.rexx ICON
  41.       then the program asks you if you want DST adjustment

  44. Other Suggested Operations:
  45. 1) Add it to ToolsDaemon or similar "menu" program.
  46.  
  47. 2) Add it to Events in Miami as follows:
  48.    (Doing this automatically runs Atomic.rexx everytime you use Miami!)
  49.  
  50.    1) Start Miami
  51.    2) Select "Events"
  52.    3) Select the "Online - Filename Box" and enter
  53.       's:atomic.rexx n' (no quotes, and the "n" is for NO DST-change this
  54.       to y in the summer)
  55.    4) Select "Console name" box and enter:
  56.       CON:2/10/600/150/Atomic Clock/AUTO/CLOSE
